Four times or more per year I  create and lead healing retreats  at  a place in the woods that I call,  Sacred Earth School of the Divine Heart….
These retreats are highly experiential, mostly about reconnecting with ones heart, and taking some time to breathe and play, and getting away from routine, and busyness, and cell phones…… long enough to hear your own inner voice, speaking softly to you of it's longing…. for you to get quiet and listen……

These retreats are  about Healing anything which stands in the way of deeply reconnecting with Your True Self….and reconnecting with nature in the process…..
I believe we have a huge deficit in our society……it is a deficit of our connection with nature……If we fail to spend time sitting in the grass, feeling the wind, and watching the clouds…..we can lose touch with our connection to nature…and so with  our childlike hearts full of joyous wonder…..When we loose this wonder our lives become dull and we walk then like sleep walkers…….If from the time we are children we are not connected with nature, because we stay inside too much, in front of computer screens or t.v.s where do the stewards of Mother Earth then come from?
WE ARE ALL HERE IN THIS SACRED EARTH SCHOOL TO WAKE UP!
Ask yourself if you will….when was the last time you took a moment to sit on the dirt….. and be quiet and breathe…….many people I see are only outside when they walk from their houses to their cars…….in the winter they stay warm inside….in the summer they hang out in the air conditioning…For excersise they go to the gym…….when was the last time you let the rain wash your eyes clear, so you could truly see????
 Sacred Earth School of the Divine Heart is located on 38 acres  in a rustic setting in Oregons lush green  Coast Range…..S.E.S. is about simple living and being surrounded by natures splendor…..It is far from the maddening crowd in a place time seems to have forgotten……..it is very quiet here…..and so dark at night one can see a million stars…..Herds of elk roam through often, and coyote and frog song is commonplace…lots of hummingbirds……..
( Retreats are also offered at the ocean or, at a hot springs…..for those who want more luxurious accomodations)….S.E.S. offers…… .Silence retreats, womens gatherings,Sacred art and writers retreats,  as well as  Rights of passage camps for youth….. all   are  offered during the summer….as well as family camp outs and acoustic music camps……all gatherings are reasonably priced as the accomodations are a tent under the stars……(.price includes vegetarian meals.) I am a personal chef….. my specialties are the art of soup and salads as mandalas.)

 I also work parttime as a preschool teacher for an agency, and we specialize in serving kids who are at risk
 because they are in various situations of dysfunction within their families…… I am really dedicated to helping young people to know they are not their situation and to encourage and motivate them to transcend any obstacle…..through my mentoring I hope they will   feel good about themselves as people…….. regardless of how their  parents may be acting……part of my job that I also enjoy….. includes  offering parenting support, advocacy, and resource referral …As A parent myself I know firsthand…..”It takes a whole village to raise a child”………….I am a multifaceted person with many interests….. who plays many roles…….. I am happy to be me , to be Alive,  and to be fully present….here……now….with whatever is.
